About Us
Abate-A-Weed was founded in October of 1965 by Jona Feil and Marvin Bartel for the express purpose of providing weed and insect control for industrial, commercial and residential property.
The company began with one spray rig and one working partner. Abate-A-Weed expanded into sales of chemicals in 1967 and sales of lawn and garden equipment in 1975.
Jona Feil purchased Marvin Bartel’s share of the business after his death in 1986.
Abate-A-Weed presently has 36 full time employees with:
