Abate-A-Weed carries a number of landscape pesticides. It can be overwhelming to see a row of them on the shelf and try to determine on your own which one is right for you. In general there are systemic and other chemicals.
Systemic
Systemic insecticides are generally applied as a soil drench for the roots to take up the chemical for the purpose of killing insects that feed on the plants.
Others
Other landscape insecticides can generally be applied throughout the lawn or sprayed on plants to have a limited residual effect. These chemicals will not remain within plants, but still have immediate effect on pests.
